The Padró & Co. vermouths travelled to Malaga last month as VIP guests at a very special tasting. Thirty experts from the drinks industry were able to enjoy all five of our vermouths: Rojo Clásico, Rojo Amargo, Reserva Blanco, Reserva Especial and Dorado Amargo Suave – in a tasting championed by the city’s gastronomy expert Fernando Rueda.
We were really honoured to have Fernando with us. His 30+ years of experience in the industry make him an inexhaustible so urce of culinary kn owledge, haute cuisine and good food. His long list of achievements include the foundation of
Gastroarte, Andalusia’s gastronomic group that promotes, studies, disseminates and defends local cuisine and produce.
The tasting was a huge success, in part, due to the unique location. Montana Restaurant is a 19 th century restored mansion and is recommended by the main gastronomic guides of Spain . It also shares the Padró & Co. philosophy : a blend of tradition, innovation and design.
It was a pleasure for us to present our range of vermouths to this wide group of experts and to taste and discover together the special character that makes each vermouth unique. We had a really great time in a professional but also festive atmosphere. An unforgettable adventure whic h we are looking forward to repeating!
