Catavinum World Wine & Spirits 2016: Nine silver medals for Vins Padró
We are happy to report that our products have recently received renewed recognition, in the form of nine silver medals, from the Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition 2016, an international wine-tasting event organized in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.
Three of the medals went to our Myrrha family of vermouths (Reserva, Red and White).

El Vers Criança 2011 (D.O. Catalunya)
White Wines:
Capitol Blanco 2015 (D.O. Tarragona)
Crinel Màgic Blanc 2015 (D.O. Tarragona)
Rosé Wines:
Capitol Rosado 2015 (D.O. Tarragona)
Bosc Crinel Rosat 2015 (D.O. Tarragona)
Our wines were tasted alongside just over 3000 other wines and spirits from more than 28 countries including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Greece, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Portugal, South Africa, Spain and the United States. Of the products tasted just 900 or so received medals or diplomas.
One of the objectives of the competition is to bring the quality of the wines given accolades to the attention of consumers and professionals in the industry.
