The five most refreshing summer sippers

Is there anything quite as refreshing as a good cocktail? Here are five, easy-to-make summer sips to keep you cool and collected through the warmest weeks of the year.

Mediterranean Cooler

by Jordi Vizcarro
We make this in a large jug with plenty of crushed ice, some slices of lime and around 8 fresh mint leaves. Add 400 ml. of Padró & Co. Blanco Reserva, 300 ml. of our unoaked, light but aromatic Ipsis Chardonnay and 700 ml. of soda water.

Vermujito

by Laura Durán
50 ml of Padró & Co. Blanco Reserva, 10 ml. of sugar syrup, half a crushed lime and 7 fresh mint leaves.

Royal Devil

by Jordi Vizcarro

60 ml. of Padró & Co. Rojo Clásico, 100 ml. of tomato juice, 10 ml of freshly-squeezed lemon juice, 1 dash of Lee & Perrins, 1 dash of Tabasco, a pinch of salt and freshly-ground pepper.

Summer

by Laura Durán
50 ml. of Padró & Co. Blanco Reserva, 4/6 slices of any sweet melon, 20 ml. of freshly-squeezed lime juice, 15 ml. of agave syrup, crushed ice and fresh mint. Crush the melon, agave syrup and mint together with the ice, Mojito-style, in a glass and then add the vermouth and lime juice.

Tikivermut

by Laura Durán
50 ml. of Padró & Co. Rojo Clásico, 10 ml. of freshly-squeezed lime juice, 15 ml. of sugar syrup, 4/5 crushed watermelon slices and some crushed ice.

And, for those of you whose number one Padró & Co. is our Dorado Amargo Suave best, here’s an even easier recipe: just add 30ml of this vermouth to your fruit slushie of choice to make your favourite summer sipper.
