Padró & Co. Reserva Especial voted Best Vermouth in Spain
We were delighted this month to receive additional approval for the quality of our vermouths from Andalusia. Cordoba’s prestigious Mezquita Awards and Iberian Wine Competition presented us with a total of six medals and two special prizes, including a Gold Medal for our Padró & Co. Reserva Especial, the only vermouth in the 2019 competition to be awarded Gold. This very special vermouth, one of our three red Padró & Co. vermouths, also received the Special Prize for Best Vermouth in the competition, a prize given by Cordoba’s Aula del Vino, a cultural association for the promotion and circulation of wine culture.
Our other vermouths also received some excellent recognition including a Silver medal for our Myrrha Rojo Reserva as well as the Special Prize for Best Bottle Design. Four silver medals went to our Blanco Reserva, Rojo Clásico, Rojo Amargo and Dorado Amargo Suave vermouths in our Padró & Co. line.
The awards were presented in the amazing Baroque patio of the city’s Palacio de la Mercedon 5th June.
