A medal for our Padró & Co. Classics Wooden Crate Gift Presentation at Madrid’s IPA Packaging Awards

The IPA Awards Ceremony, now in its 5th year, took place this year on 13th November, at the 2018 Packaging Innovations Fair at IFEMA in Madrid.

IPA Awards gives accolades to the most innovatory presentations in the packaging industry. This year our 4-bottle Padró & Co. Classics Wooden Crate won the Gold Medal for Inspirational Packaging and Innovation in Beverages. The crate, hand-made using recycled wood, is inspired by the crates used at the Padró family winery in the 1960s to transport returnable wine bottles.

The design, which combines tradition with novelty, has also won awards on previous occasions. In 2017 it received a silver medal in the packaging category of the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London as well as a Double Gold for Packaging Design in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

We can’t deny that the gift crate highlights everything that is most important about our vermouths. A fine blend of old and new, a perfect pairing of tradition and innovation. The crate makes an ideal gift not only for vermouth aficionados with a keen eye for detail but also for anyone who might enjoy this fabulous range vermouth sensations. Try them with friends and find your favourite!
