Our Padró & Co. vermouths will soon be available in the United States, but before finding their place in specialised stores and cocktails bars, they have made their debut appearance at a US trade show.
Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas was the venue between 30th April and 3rd May for the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) annual convention, an event now in its 75th year and known for its numerous tasting and cocktail competitions. All five of our Padró & Co. vermouths were present at this event of the year so that those in the US drinks industry could start to get to know our products.
At around the same time, we entered three of our five Padró & Co. vermouths in the Ultimate Beverage Challenge (UBC) in New York. All three received high marks from the expert panel of judges: 86 points for our Rojo Clásico, 87 points for our Dorado Amargo Suave and 84 points for our Rojo Amargo. These accolades are a happy addition to the medals we received in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2017 and an affirmation of how well are vermouths are perceived outside Spain.
