All five Padró & Co. on the World Vermouth Awards Podium

Exciting news for us this month from the UK: all five of our Padró & Co. vermouths now stand proud on the World Vermouth Awards podium. This year we sent our Padró & Co. Rojo Clásico and our Blanco Reserva white vermouth for tasting. Both vermouths received a medal in the World’s Best Sweet Vermouth category: a silver for our Rojo Clásico and a Bronze for our Blanco Reserva. The panel were impressed by the exceptional smoothness and well-rounded character of our Rojo Clásico as well as the crisp, fresh nose and soft sweetness of our Blanco Reserva. At last year’s tasting, our Dorado Amargo Suave, Rojo Amargo and Reserva Especial received Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively in the World’s Best Vermouth competition. Our Rojo Amargo also received three awards in the World’s Best Vermouth Design category: Best New Launch Design, Best Brand Design and Best Presentation Design. The panel emphasized how different our Rojo Amargo is from any other vermouth packaging, both its fluorescent colours and overall bottle design making it entirely original. The World Vermouth Awards is now in its third year evaluating different types of wine, beer and spirits, and spotlighting vermouth in particular.
