Vermouth Padró & Co. at the Catalan Film Summer Festival

This year’s Catalan Film Summer Festival was held at the CatalunyaAudio-Visual Park in Terrassa, just outside Barcelona. We were present together with Spanish bartender Gerard Ruiz (Cocktail Time by Gerard Ruiz),who mixed up a couple of cool cocktails using our Padró & Co. vermouths. Ginmut, a cocktail made using our Blanco Reserva, with a bit of gin and a bit of tonic and Padró & Tonic, made using our Rojo Clásico and some tonic. Two wonderfully refreshing combinations just perfect for an evening of cinema. Local authorities and celebrities from the world of Catalan film present at the event came over to try our vermouths and cocktails. We had the pleasure of meeting, among many others, Catalan Minister of Culture, Mariàngela Vilallonga, the Mayor of Terrassa, Jordi Ballart, Delegate of the Government of the Generalitat in Barcelona, Juli Fernàndezand writer and producer Isona Passola, also President of the Catalan Film Academy. Isona Passola opened the festival with a speech reminding the 400 or so present of the aim of the event. The Catalan Film Summer Festival tries to bring together all those who have a part in the development of the audio-visual industry, in order to share experiences and know-how. Mission accomplished, without doubt, and an enjoyable evening was had by all, ourselves included.
