The Barcelona Rooftop Terraces Week, now in its 9th year, proved as always to be a great success. The numerous cultural, gastronomic and leisure activities, organised by some of the coolest hotels in Barcelona, attracted thousands between 7thand 16thJune.
This year we were up on the top of Barcelona’s Hotel The One. From the hotel’s fabulous terrace, with its splendid views of the city, we held vermouth and cocktail workshops with explanations from our Brand Ambassador, Jordi Vizcarro, on the characteristics and subtleties of our Padró & Co. five. Mixologist, Laura Durán, created several refreshing cocktails of the day using our five vermouths, including, among others, a re-interpretation of the popular Mojito (using our Blanco Reserva) and a Bloody Mary (using our Rojo Clásico).
We were also up on the terrace of the NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderón, where we held a workshop on vermouth pearls and jellies. New and interesting ways to try our Padró & Co. range, without a doubt. The array of textures takes the vermouth-drinking experience to another level.
Once again, the Barcelona Hotel Guild brought about a magnificent teaming up of the city’s very best hotels. A total of 65 hotels took part this year with 200 free gastronomic and cultural activities on offer. A fabulous stage upon which we were once again lucky enough to perform with our five Padró & Co. vermouths and we hope to get the chance again in the future.
